The free trial period is full access to all features of ByteEditor for 14 (7 for hosted) days with which you can create a fully functional website without any limitations.
Free trial is available for both hosted (up to 4 websites, no installation needed, 7 days free trial) and a self-hosted website (installed, 14 days to try) versions of ByteEditor.
To install a self-hosted trial version of ByteEditor follow this guide.
Hosted Website is a Cloud version of ByteEditor hosted on Microsoft Azure. It does not require installation or servers to run from your side. Perfect for prototyping and getting started fast.
Website License is a license to use ByteEditor software on any server and require manual installation.
Once you purchased a subscription, you'll have an account created on byteeditor.net. The account credentials will be emailed to you. Login into your byteeditor.net account and setup the website domain names to start using ByteEditor site builder after trial. There's no need to upload license file to your website or do other manual steps.
After creating your hosted website, you'll receive an email with details on how to access your website and its backoffice. Login into your backoffice to get started. You'll see Subscriptions on your dashboard with ability to purchase a subscription for the websites you created.
A Website License includes 3 domains for development, testing and production domains. Please review our License Agreement for more details.
Hosted Website can have one custom domain.
Yes, you can use any ByteEditor's website template (or change the one being used) with a single license. Follow our guide on how install another template.
Hosted Website: you can select a template when creating a new website. Once created, you cannot change the template for an existing website. You can launch up to 4 trial hosted websites to try different templates.
